With 5+ years of experience in creative production spaces, Apurva works across fictional, non-fictional narrative projects as well as commercial projects for television. With a great passion for all things arts, Apurva specialises in writing, directing and cinematographing films, TVCs, and creating multi-platform narrative content for arts organisations, visual artists, musicians, theatre groups, and small to large businesses.
Apurva loves showcasing a sense of dreaminess, nostalgia, warmth, and power in her stories, however, is happy to work across various different themes and genres.
Biography
Apurva was born and brought up in Jammu & Kashmir, India. She is a Master of Arts graduate from Curtin University majoring in Screen Arts (Film & Television) operating in Boorloo on Whadjuk Noongar land (Perth, Western Australia).
She developed a love for cameras and visual arts while in high school. However, she never imagined that she would want to pursue a career surrounding it. After thinking-testing-trying different paths, and completing a B.A (Hons) in Applied Psychology in India, she decided that the right path for her is in the creative industries.
Apurva has worked on multiple films, video projects, podcasts, and commercial content. She currently works full-time for Limitless Studios & freelances as a creative across photographic & video based mediums. She has always laid emphasis on storytelling and developing strong visual styles for her work.
Apart from visual arts, music & movies, she enjoys travelling, film photography, loves Mexican & Japanese food amongst a lot of other cuisines; you can win her heart with any citrus drink.
